Heat pumps for homes across the South West
Expert guidance from first enquiry to installation
If you are considering a heat pump, the best place to start is choosing the system that suits your property. Evergreen installs both air source and ground source heat pumps, each supplied with your home, site and heating requirements in mind.
Air source heat pumps
The proven energy-efficient alternative to traditional boilers
Air source heat pumps extract heat from the outside air and use it to provide heating and hot water inside the home. They are often a strong fit for existing properties, renovation projects and homeowners looking to replace oil, LPG or older electric heating systems.
Evergreen installs Samsung and Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pumps and cylinders as an accredited installer.
Ground source heat pumps
Efficient heating using energy stored in the ground
Ground source heat pumps collect heat from beneath the ground through buried pipework or other collection methods. They are often well-suited to properties with more outside space, larger plots or projects where groundworks form part of the wider project.
Evergreen installs Kensa ground source heat pumps, with a team experienced in designing and delivering systems for South West properties.
Boiler Upgrade Scheme funding
Helping cover the cost of installation
£7,500
off the cost and installation for eligible properties
For eligible properties in England and Wales, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme offers £7,500 off the cost and installation of an air source or ground source heat pump. The scheme is installer-led, which means Evergreen applies on your behalf, and the grant is deducted from the quoted cost upfront.
From July 2026, the UK government is increasing the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant to £9,000 for homeowners in England and Wales replacing oil or LPG boilers with heat pumps.
*BUS funding is subject to the current scheme rules and property eligibility. Evergreen can advise on likely suitability and apply on your behalf where applicable.
1
Installer-led process
Evergreen applies for the grant on your behalf – there is no separate application for you to manage.
2
Deducted upfront
The grant is deducted from your quoted installation cost – not claimed back afterwards.
3
Air and ground source eligible
Both air source and ground source heat pump installations qualify under the current scheme rules.
