Heating Engineer

Position: Full Time (Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm)

Driving Licence: Full Driving Licence required

Location: Evergreen HQ based in Lyme Regis, but we cover Dorset, Devon and Somerset (approx. 25 mile radius of Lyme Regis)

Evergreen is a family run business based in Lyme Regis. We are primarily a renewables installation company, installing, heat pumps, heating systems, solar PV, batteries, EV chargers, etc. We have our own team of heating engineers and electricians. Our staff are offered regular training sessions to keep up with the latest developments. The right candidate will be joining a growing company at an exciting time and will be given a great opportunity to work and progress in the ever-evolving renewables sector.

The Role:

Evergreen Renewable Energy Ltd are looking for an experienced heating engineer to join our expanding team.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

Installation and servicing of heat pumps (Training will be given)
Heating system upgrades/installations
Gas Boiler installation and servicing
Cylinder installations
Underfloor Heating Installations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

NVQ level 3 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
Gas Safe qualifications an advantage
Minimum 10 years’ experience within the plumbing industry
Good understanding of Health and Safety Regulations
Able to work in a team and unsupervised
UK Full Driving Licence

Role Details:

Company Vehicle provided
Work hours Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm (overtime available)
28 days holiday (increasing with length of service)

Training provided
Good Salary dependant on qualifications and experience.
